| Tahoe Sailing Charters offers public and private sailing charters from May through October. Our trips depart from Tahoe City, California, on Lake Tahoe’s north shore. We offer a wide variety of ways to get out on the lake with us. |

| Starting August 17 through October 13, 2024, reservations will be required on weekends and holidays. This initial trial period will help staff and visitors adjust to the new procedures, with full implementation set for April 2025. |

| Sand Harbor parking fills up very fast in the summer time. The free transit service will operate daily from 10:00 AM to approximately 6:30 PM, starting June 28 and running through September 2. The service will operate as a continuous loop with multiple designated eastbound and westbound bus stops. Please see the link for updated information. |

| VISITING VIKINGSHOLM
Vikingsholm is located at the head of Emerald Bay, one of the most photographed spots in the United States. This magnificent structure, now a national and California landmark, is considered one of the finest examples of Scandinavian architecture outside of the Nordic countries. The property on which Vikingsholm is built includes 232 acres of Tahoe’s most beautiful vistas, the only island in Lake Tahoe, and the only waterfall that flows directly into the lake. It is a great destination for a day of sightseeing, hiking, boating, and swimming.
Vikingsholm can be reached by walking a one-mile trail from the parking lot on Highway 89, or by boat. The home is open daily for tours in the summer months from June to September. These tours are conducted by guides employed by the Sierra State Parks Foundation. A visitor`s center adjacent to the main building is available for further information and the sale of tour tickets and other items.

Truckee Thursdays is a feel-good event that beckons the community to enjoy some exuberant downtown summertime energy. It’s no wonder this lively weekly event is on both locals’ and visitors’ must-do list. In addition, attendees will find sidewalk sales and other activities hosted by Historic Downtown merchants. | Bluesdays FREE Concert Series
The Village welcomes the return of Bluesdays, Tahoe`s must-see summer music series. This free outdoor concert series features top blues musicians every Tuesday from mid June through August.

Bluesdays features an outdoor Blues bar with beer, wine and spirits as well as great grab-and-go food offerings from Village restaurants.
